Commencing in 1999, Russell Engineering Inc. expanded into the Bridge Building Market in the state of Florida.

Equipped with many years of prior construction experience, Russell Engineering Inc. was awarded its first Bridge Contract by the Florida Department of Transportation. The project was a relatively simple low level bridge replacement on U.S. 1 over the Tomoka River near Daytona Florida valued at just over four million dollars.

Since this expansion Russell Engineering Inc. has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the highly competitive field of bridge building. Pre-qualified by the State of Florida to bid and construct all types of fixed span bridges and overpasses, Russell Engineering Inc. has come a long way from the one crane and one pile hammer “new kid on the block” of the previous century.

Having recently obtained the early completion of a high profile major interchange reconstruction in Miami – Dade County, Russell Engineering Inc. has earned the respect of an industry which does not offer praise lightly.
